In recent times, we have taken numerous actions to protect the health and well-being of all our employees and their families, our customers and supply chain partners whilst at the same time trying to ensure we maintain our normal service levels.
None of us will be immune to the impact of Covid-19 and we all will see changes in the way our businesses have to operate in the short term. But we will continue to work hard with our customers and supply chain partners to ensure we can find pragmatic solutions, whilst the challenges remain, and to be in a strong position to return to normal service once we have successfully managed through these uncertain times.
We have recently implemented the Government furlough programme for some of our colleagues. We are doing this to align our operations with market demand, whilst ensuring we continue to deliver critical pipeline components and services for our customers, as we continue to battle Coronavirus and manage its impact on all of our businesses.
Our manufacturing and logistics operations remain open, operating with new processes and procedures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and complying with Government and Public Health England (PHE) advice on dealing with Covid-19.
Our customer service and internal sales teams are now working normally and effectively from home, operating from their same contact numbers and e-mails as before.
We continue to monitor the situation and follow developments on a daily basis and will adapt to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and partners.
