Our close-fit RollDown pipe lining system is designed to restore structurally weakened mains with full pressure ratings. Using standard PE pipes, which are butt-fusion welded to the required lengths, the pipe diameter is temporarily reduced by around 10% using roller sets. This reduced-diameter liner is then inserted into the host pipe using conventional sliplining methods. Once pressurised with cold water, the pipe returns to its original size, ensuring a tight fit within the host pipe while maintaining flow capacity.
Suitable for polyethylene pipe sizes ranging from 100mm to 500mm, RollDown is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to open-cut replacements. Approved for public drinking water and gas applications, this system offers reliable, pressure-rated performance with efficient installation through butt-fusion welding.
