The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Technical & Product Marketing Assistant to join the team for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining product certifications and approvals in line with industry regulations such as GIS, WRAS, and ISO, while ensuring that all product information in our ERP system (Syspro) is accurate, consistent, and free from errors. You will play a key role in preparing technical specifications, documents, and product updates for both internal teams and customers, as well as contributing to the creation of brochures, datasheets, website content, and other marketing materials. Alongside this, you will gather competitor and market intelligence to help inform product strategy, and work closely with colleagues across departments to support product launches, update CRM systems, and communicate product changes effectively throughout the business.
The Candidate
We are looking for a graduate with a degree in Engineering, Business with a technical focus, or a related discipline. This role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail and excellent data management skills, with the ability to ensure and maintain product data accuracy and integrity across multiple platforms, including internal systems, marketing communications and product literature. You should be able to compare product data from multiple sources to maintain consistency and eliminate errors, as well as question existing methods and propose new approaches to establish a single, accurate source of truth. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks are essential, along with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
You will ideally have knowledge or a strong interest in the gas, water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors, as well as an understanding of data integrity management systems that ensure both accuracy and consistency. You should be committed to eliminating data errors across all product-related systems, including internal platforms such as Syspro, marketing materials, and product literature. The role also requires the ability to challenge and improve existing data management methods, an understanding of quality management systems and regulatory frameworks, and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems such as SAP.
