We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join
our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be
proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment.
The Role
Duties:
- First line response to breakdowns
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair as needed
- Carry out agreed improvement modifications
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement
The Candidate
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a time served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and/or extrusion and injection moulding
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- 18th Edition Electrical Installation qualification
- Servo Drives experience
The shift pattern is on a 2 week rolling rota as follows;
Week 1 - 6am-2pm Monday-Friday
Week 2 - 10am-6pm Monday-Thursday & 6am-2pm Friday
