The Role
We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join our dynamic Butt Fusion department. If you have experience in a manufacturing or production line environment and are looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble components for Butt Fusion machines
- Visually inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Package products in line with customer operating procedures
- Perform general duties and cover as required within the department
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the designated work area
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership for assigned tasks
- Understanding of safe systems of work and waste handling procedures
- Flexibility to adapt and support different areas of production as needed
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with Butt Fusion equipment
- Experience working to standard operating procedures
